Author Guidelines

Author Guidelines 

It is the responsibility of the author to comply with the submission guidelines. Authors are required to check off their article submission complies with the following terms and conditions.  If the articles are submitted without due compliance with the guidelines stated below, the submission may be returned. 

  • Submit your manuscript with all appropriate author details. Include your name, email id, contact number, affiliation, company, and other information deemed necessary to know about you. 
  • The article you are going to submit should be new. It should not be published previously by any other journal. You can send articles to other journals for publication but if your article is accepted for publication by the other journals then you should inform us immediately. We will not consider it for publication then. 
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  • The text is double-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author's Guidelines.

Preparing The Manuscript 

Your paper should have a Title Page, Abstract, Keywords, Main Text Introduction, Research Methods, Methodologies, Analysis, Discussion, Results, Acknowledgements, Declaration of Interest Statement, Appendices, References, Bibliography, Tables, Citations, and Figures. If a table or a figure has been taken from a published source, then you should acknowledge it or cite the resource. 

Word Count

Word Count For a Research Article: 3,000 – 8,000 words (excluding references)

Purpose: Original research with methodology, results, and discussion.

For Brief Papers and Short Communications, the word count can be between 1500-3000 words. For Survey Papers and Review Articles, it should be between 4000-6000 words. 

For Case Studies, the word count should be 3000-5000 words. For Opinion Papers, It should be 1500-3000 words. 

Note:  References – Not included in the word count

Style Guidelines

Font

  • Use Times New Roman. Font Size: 12 
  • Double-line spacing

Margins

Margins should be at least 2.5cm (1 inch).

Title

Use bold for your article title, with an initial capital letter for any proper nouns.

Authors can use US or UK English. It is recommended that the author should use only one type of English. Either the US or the UK English. 

Adding Author Details 

  • The manuscript should have all the required Author Details. It shall include the Author’s full name and affiliation (preferably on the cover page)
  • Include ORCID on the cover page (recommended but not necessary)
  • You can add the names of the co-authors too. 
  • If there is a change in affiliation, then it should be notified (before the article is published).
  • Changes to affiliation can be made after your paper is accepted for publication. The new affiliation can be given as a footnote (if the peer review process is completed).

General Structure of a Research Article (Recommended But Not Required for all Manuscripts)

  • Abstract – 150–300 words (Try to incorporate the purpose of the article, research methodology, research findings, limitations of the research conducted, implications, analysis, and outcome). 
  • Introduction – 500–1,000 words (provide a proper and relevant introduction. Cite information correctly)
  • Methodology – 1,000–2,000 words
  • Results & Discussion – 1,500–3,000 words
  • Conclusion – 500–1,000 words
  • References – Not included in the word count

Use of Keywords

You can use 3 to 5 keywords to make the article more discoverable. Keywords help with optimizing your article, and it gets displayed in search engine results easily. So choose the keywords carefully.

Funding Details

  • Add funding details if applicable in your case. 
Add grant-awarding bodies in the following manner: 

For single-agency grants
  • This work was supported by the [Funding Agency] under Grant [number xxxx].
For multiple agency grants
  • This work was supported by the [Funding Agency #1] under Grant [number xxxx]; [Funding Agency #2] under Grant [number xxxx]; and [Funding Agency #3] under Grant [number xxxx].

Disclosure Statement

This is to acknowledge any financial interest or benefit that has arisen from the direct applications of your research. 

Figures

Figures should be high quality (1200 dpi for line art, 600 dpi for grayscale, and 300 dpi for color, at the correct size). Preferred file formats for the figures are as follows: JPEG, PDF, PS, EPS, TIFF, or Microsoft Word (DOC or DOCX) files.

Tables

The tables you include shall present new information. The tables should not duplicate what is in the text. Readers should be able to interpret the table without reference to the text. Please supply editable files.

Equations

Please ensure that equations are editable.

Citation and Referencing Style

You can use IEEE (Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers) styles (recommended) or other citation styles such as APA (American Psychological Association), MLA (Modern Language Association), Harvard, and Chicago.
